If I had to pick something it would be that they are pretty strict about wanting you to buildout, edit, and finalize your first entire campaign before getting started.
The other list provider we were looking at didn't have that functionality and was substantially more. They second large benefit was the sequencing of emails they offer. Lastly, we even had a custom request that was needed and they were able to complete that in a short period of time. Onboarding was always available as needed and met with us several extra times to help us launch. The sales process was zero pressure, heavy on solution-based selling with very clear expectations on commitment and implementation. Overall experience has been one to strive for as a company ourselves. Rapid Response and Sound Onboarding Process A "qualified" prospect could technically (by the definition of the word) be 'qualified' even before any contact is made. Didn't know that it would pause the prospects in the campaign. A little confusion on what "qualified" meant. A built-in dialer would also be very helpful. I can't click on an account and see all the prospects in it, or all the prospects from an account within a campaign. I love that upon launching a campaign, the table is set to make the prospect and company names 'natural.' It is easier to do than in spreadsheets, and when the company name is changed, it does it for all the prospects at once. Either way, does the job, good value for the dollar, great support, and it has a little ways to go but it's almost there! I'm not sure if I picked-up Growbots because it's easier to learn or because I had already learned Outreach. I've also used Outreach which did feel a little "richer" in some ways, but it was also a longer learning curve. Great value for the $$ - little ways to go but almost there! Growbots may be a little expensive, but the ease of high-quality prospecting, writing emails, and creating campaigns – all in a single workflow, is invaluable. And I think that is invaluable to any marketing team. Since then, we’ve been able to set up effective campaigns easily with high-quality prospects on our own. And it was excellent! They set up our first campaign for us, took us through all the dos-and-don’ts, and found us success with email campaigns that work. We signed up for Growbots’ 3 month onboarding bootcamp. All-in-all, minor limitations for the value you receive. They also have some limitations when you need to remove prospects completely, for example if the prospect is geographically tied to only one product and you don't want them in your other campaigns. When transferring prospects from one campaign to the next, there is a limit of 100 at a time to avoid bogging down the platform which can become cumbersome. The reporting and analytics are sufficient, but could be better. Setting up templates and creating sequences is easy and fast, and navigating to what you need is easy with the built in filters.
